- Manage the end-to-end ordering process for furniture, lighting, materials, services, etc.
- Maintain order calendars and design team schedules
- Creating and maintaining detailed items in Studio Designer
- Preparing proposals, purchase orders, and client-facing documentation
- Tracking orders from placement through delivery
- Communicating with vendors, receivers, workrooms, showrooms, and freight companies
- Coordinating shipping, delivery updates, damages, claims, and replacements
- Updating order statuses, expected ship dates, and project notes
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and project documentation
- Work in coordination with bookkeeper to categorize application of funds to individual items, Proposals, POs, and invoices
- Develop and manage vendor relationships & set up accounts as needed
- Oversee all tracking and deliveries with warehouses & shippers
- Support Business & Operations Manager on ad-hoc needs as required
- This is a PART-TIME, 1099 Role, with an approximate range of $30-40/hr dependent on experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Studio Designer in (a) detailing, (b) ordering, and (c) tracking items. Must be recent experience due to recent platform changes.
- Minimum of 2 years in the procurement function working on payments, returns, tracking funds, etc.
- Must be in-person (NYC) for training for the first few months.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, orders, and deadlines at once
- Problem-solve and troubleshoot when issues arrive
- Independently work on large projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing project needs
