Seeking an Office Manager for a bustling Interior Design Studio. The Office Manager would be responsible for the daily operations of the studio, ensuring that projects, purchasing, and administrative workflows run smoothly. This role supports the design team by coordinating vendors, managing studio finances and purchasing, organizing schedules, and maintaining studio systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the design studio
Maintain office systems and project organization
Oversee studio supplies, sample library organization, and inventory
Financial & Administrative Management
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
Track project budgets and purchasing schedules
Coordinate with external accountants and bookkeepers
Monitor vendor payments and client billing
Process furniture, lighting, and material orders
Track shipments, delivery schedules, and order status
Communicate with vendors, workrooms, and suppliers
Project Support
Assist designers with project timelines and documentation
Coordinate installations and deliveries
Prepare project binders, presentations, and materials
Manage client correspondence and scheduling
Qualifications
3+ years of office management or administrative experience
Experience in interior design, architecture, construction, or a creative studio preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency with:
Studio Designer
Canva
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong problem-solving abilities
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Professional communication with clients and vendors
Interest in design and creative industries
