The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and design-driven Independent Multi-Line Sales Representative to grow our new sustainable textile brand, Sunthreads.
Developed under the CarbonShack umbrella, Sunthreads is a forward-thinking collection of UV-printed hemp fabrics designed for modern interiors. Each fabric blends eco-conscious materials with cutting-edge digital printing technology, creating patterns that explore light, color, and nature through an innovative, low-impact process.
This is a unique opportunity to represent a design-first, sustainability-focused multi-line brand that bridges fine art, biophilic design, and advanced textile innovation.
About the Brand:
Sunthreads redefines surface design through a new approach to printing on hemp fabric — one of the world’s most sustainable fibers. Our UV-cured inks eliminate water waste and harsh chemicals, producing vivid, long-lasting color while honoring the natural texture and integrity of the hemp itself.
Each collection is developed in collaboration with artists, architects, and designers who share a commitment to sustainability, material honesty, and emotional connection to the built environment.
• Represent the Sunthreads collection to interior designers, showrooms, and architects
• Open new accounts and nurture ongoing client relationships
• Present collections through sample books, swatches, and digital lookbooks
• Collaborate with design studios and hospitality clients to specify textiles for upholstery, drapery, and wall applications
• Build visibility for the brand through events, trade shows, and design community engagement
• Act as a brand ambassador for eco-conscious, innovative design
Ideal Candidate
• Experience as a sales representative or multi-line rep in textiles, soft goods, or interior design
• Strong network within the A&D (Architect & Designer) community
• Understanding of sustainable materials and interest in design innovation
• Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and passionate about storytelling through design
• Willing to travel regionally to meet with clients and expand brand presence
