Job Description

TORREY is seeking a full time Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to join our growing logistics team.
The Logistics & Procurement Coordinator is the point-person on all procurement details including product management, budget tracking and invoice and PO management.

Logistics & Procurement Coordinator should be ready to work alongside designers to review orders, communicate with vendors and clients, and track payments. You must have a positive, team-oriented attitude, with the ability to provide thorough and ample information in a fast-paced environment. this role is ideal for a proactive and organized individual with an interest in interior design.

Job Requirements

Procurement Management:
-Purchase materials, furniture, fixtures, and accessories in line with design specifications.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
-Manage purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of all items.
-Verify the accuracy of orders and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
-Manage inventory

Logistics Coordination:
-Coordinate with the receiving warehouse for delivery and installation of all purchased items with project timelines.
-Oversee the receiving, inspection, and quality control of materials and furnishings.
-Arrange storage and handling of items as needed, including managing warehousing logistics.
-Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless installation and setup of all design elements.

Project Support:
-Work closely with designers and project managers to ensure all procurement activities align with project goals and schedules.
-Provide regular updates on procurement and logistics status to the design team and clients.
-Assist with budget management by tracking and reporting on procurement costs.
-Prepare and maintain accurate records of all purchases, deliveries, and inventory.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or a related role, within the interior design or construction industry.
-Strong understanding of supply chain processes and vendor management.
-Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Studio Designer preferred.
-Strong communication and negotiation skills.
-Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach.
