Responsibilities of the role include:
- 2D plan and elevation drawings in AutoCAD, occasional 3d renderings in SketchUp.
- Generating full drawing sets and detail drawings for contractor bidding & execution of ongoing construction.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and juggle various deadlines at the same time.
- Ability to create 2D photoshop renderings using cad elevations, various material layers, and furnishing images.
- Exhibit high-level communication and interpersonal skills with all team members in office, as well as external partners & vendors.
- Attending project meetings & taking relevant notes
- Manage item specifications and construction schedules with accurate product information for all furniture, plumbing, appliances, lighting, and finishes. Keep our project files updated regarding this information.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of working experience.
- Expert in AutoCAD and photoshop, and proficient in SketchUp.
- Experience generating bid sets for contractors is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ideal candidate can take initiative, follow instructions without ample supervision, has a high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

We are looking for a full-time junior designer/architectural drafter to add to our team.
We are at the office Monday through Thursday (when not traveling, on job sites, or running project related errands, etc.) We work from home on Fridays. Since we are a small office, we are looking for someone who is a team-player & is willing to take on small and large tasks with the same enthusiasm.
