Job Description

We are now seeking an Intermediate interior designer to join our studio and support our growing design team.

Responsibilities include:
-Assisting seniors with high-end residential projects, and take on at least one smaller project as a lead.
-Assist with FF&E design development, sourcing, and take lead on FFE coordination / similar supportive tasks using Studio Designer
-Develop custom furniture drawings, furniture plans, elevations, millwork, and RCP's
-Assist with drafting construction document sets using AutoCAD
-3D modeling and renderings (not required)
-Compile and maintain FF&E schedules (incl. paint, decorative lighting, finishes, plumbing)
-Coordinate with vendors, contractor and manage multiple project timelines simultaneously
-Participate in client meetings, site visits, and installations
-Assist with project scheduling, documentation, and client communications
-Source and research vendors, artisans, and custom furniture makers

Job Requirements

-Degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or other relevant education
-4-5 years of work experience
-Relevant experience at a high end residential studio
-High proficiency in AutoCAD, Indesign, Photoshop, and Studio Designer
-Knowledge of NYC vendors, galleries, and showrooms
-Strong knowledge of space planning, materials schemes, drafting
-Creative, highly organized, detail oriented, seeking to grow in company
-Full time in person at NYC office - we are currently not sponsoring work visas or remote work.
