Shana Shaiman Interiors is seeking to hire a Junior Interior Designer immediately to join our fast-growing studio. This position requires outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. The candidate will work alongside our Principal to help manage the entire life span of a design project from inspiration to final installation. This includes design presentations, detailed custom furniture drawings, sourcing FFE, and thinking creatively and executing precisely. You must be authorized to live and work in the United States.
1. Degree in Interior Design
2. Minimum 2 years full -time, high-end residential interior design experience.
3. High level of proficiency in design software (AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Canva, etc.) Proficiency in Studio Designer is a must.
4. Strong background in design resources, FFE, furniture layout, and custom drawings. Keen eye for pulling furnishings compatible with the Principal’s aesthetic.
5. Create client proposals and purchase orders, constantly update and track orders, schedules, budgets, furnishings, and deliveries to ensure an on-time installation.
6. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with a sense of urgency and care. This is a very fast-paced studio.
7. Comfortable interfacing with clients and working on-site as needed.
