JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, creative Intermediate to Senior designer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in high-end residential. MUST be highly proficient in AUTO-CAD with all aspects of construction sets, millwork design, kitchen & bath layouts, and basic furniture plans, elevations, and section drawings.
You will be involved with all phases of high-end ground-up and full residential renovation projects. The candidate must be highly organized and be able to manage multiple projects at a time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Along with the principal, responsible for the creative design and execution of high-end residential projects.
. MUST be highly proficient with Auto Cad software and technical aspects of design (custom millwork, construction sets, etc.)
• Manage large-scale projects from schematic design through final installation.
• Design, source, and present all interior FF&E including finishes, fixtures, fabrics, furniture, hardware, lighting, rugs, accessories, and art in collaboration with the Principal
• Manage client and vendor communications articulately and professionally
• Drive project coordination through communication with contractors, architect, vendors, custom fabricators, and clients through multi-year projects
• Assist with the execution of client proposals and associated vendor paperwork to complete and track decorative purchases (along with Jr. Designer and Project Mgr.)
• Manage FF&E & sourcing to track detailed schedules (along with Project Mgr.)
• Define and solve complex problems, complete tasks accurately with strong attention to detail
• Manage internal and external deadlines through efficient time management
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of site installations along with the Principal and JPD team
