The Interior Design Project Manager will support the Design Principal on all projects, primarily ground-up construction and furnishings. They are extremely detail-oriented, technically skilled, level-headed, and pragmatic. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Nashville. Some travel is required.
REQUIREMENTS
-Four years minimum experience demonstrating excellence in design implementation
-Knowledge of the design process, including: materials, custom furnishings, sourcing, and construction
-Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software
-Professional and clear communication skills
-Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-Support the Design Principal in all aspects of the interior design process, from client onboarding, through construction, site visits, to final furnishings installation.
-Produce highly detailed design presentations, renderings, and floor plans.
-Serve as contact for clients, builders, vendors, tradespeople, and other third parties.
-Maintain extremely accurate records of design decisions, correspondence, and meetings.
-Develop design solutions to be considered by Design Principal.
-Prepare proposals, invoices, and purchase orders in Studio Designer.
-Obtain estimates from vendors and tradespeople.
-Continually monitor all orders to ensure timelines are met; identify discrepancies and solve any issues that arise.
-Oversee installation of all furnishings.
