General Manager of Retail

At The Huntress, we are looking for a General Manager, Retail Operations who will be responsible for evolving the scale, efficiency and effective management of our retail operational function. Reporting into the CEO, this role will be responsible for overseeing the people, processes and budgets and delivering both short and long term priorities and plans. A successful candidate will be a leader with the proven ability to successfully motivate, mentor and develop a team to represent the Huntress brand and have exceptional strategic organizational skills and a passion for continuous improvement. The General Manager will work closely with our internal teams to lead and develop a first-class retail operations department that supports the company’s existing brick and mortar portfolio and planned future growth.

-Be the representative and leader for The Huntress NY physical retail shops, supporting all activities to achieve store sales objectives for all physical retail locations. Responsible for driving sales success, delivering both exceptional customer service and in-store experiences across all locations including Pound Ridge, New York City and Mayflower Inn/Auberge shops.
-Effectively lead and manage the day-to-day operations for all store locations with focus on driving sales both for yourself and store sales associates.
-Lead and support sales associates to achieve store sales objectives. Set individual sales meetings with sales team members to ensure clarity on sales goals and strategies to achieve those targets.
