Seeking a Designer to support high-end residential projects based primarily on the East Coast. This role is ideal for a designer who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build depth in design development, documentation, and procurement within a collaborative studio environment.
Working closely with a Senior Design Lead, the Designer will support projects from post-concept design development through installation. Responsibilities include assisting with drawings, schedules, specifications, procurement coordination, and general project support to ensure projects move forward smoothly and accurately.
The Junior Designer plays a key role in maintaining project momentum by handling documentation updates, vendor follow-ups, and internal coordination. This position provides meaningful exposure to complex residential projects while offering mentorship and structure from senior team members.
This role is based in New York and is intended to strengthen day-to-day collaboration within the studio’s East Coast presence. Occasional travel for site visits and installations may be required.
• 2–4 years of experience in residential interior design or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience assisting with:
Design development and documentation
FF&E schedules and specifications
Client presentation materials
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow direction and implement feedback efficiently
• Comfort working in a support role on multiple projects simultaneously
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with senior designers and internal team members
• Discretion and professionalism when working with high-end residential clients
• Willingness to assist with site visits and installations as needed
