Kerry Joyce Associates is seeking an experienced interior design assistant to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated, creative individual who is hardworking, adaptable, and eager to contribute. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, takes initiative, anticipates what needs to be done, and follows through with care and efficiency. RESPOSIBILITES:
-Work closely with the Design Associates and Design Director through all phases of the design process
-Assist with the procurement process through quotation, ordering, and delivery
-Update project schedules and Studio Designer
-Prepare materials for client presentations and meetings
-Assist with sourcing fabric, furniture, and lighting
-Maintain accurate and organized project files and materials
-Manage sample library
-Check in and inspect incoming packages
-Assist with updating AutoCAD floor plans and elevations
-Run local errands including vendor pick ups, drop offs, and supply purchases
-Provide on-site support at site visits and installations
-1 to 3 years of interior design experience, high end residential preferred
-A Bachelors Degree in Interior Design
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Professional written and verbal communication skills
-A resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketchup
-Experience with Studio Designer is a plus
-The ability to use a variety of software tools and learn new ones easily, including in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bluebeam Revu, and Zoom
-A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for local travel
-Ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally for site visits and project installations
