Zimmer + Rohde, a family-run European leader in luxury textiles and wallcoverings, is seeking a passionate and experienced Contract Sales Representative to join its dynamic New York team. This full-time role is focused on expanding the company’s presence in the Hospitality sector, particularly within the NYC, Brooklyn, and Queens territory, by promoting Zimmer + Rohde’s six proprietary brands along with curated multi-line showroom offerings to leading hospitality designers and specifiers.

The ideal candidate is a driven and personable sales professional with deep knowledge of the Contract and Hospitality market. Whether you are a seasoned A+D rep or an interior designer ready to transition into a sales role, this position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative and enthusiastic team while developing meaningful relationships with design professionals.

Job Requirements

As a Contract Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting Zimmer + Rohde’s portfolio of high-end textiles and wallcoverings to architects, interior designers, specifiers, and purchasing agents in New York City, Brooklyn, and Queens. You will work closely with clients to understand their project needs and provide tailored product recommendations, helping them bring their design visions to life with Zimmer + Rohde’s world-class offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the contract and hospitality design community, including architecture and design firms, developers, and purchasing agents.
- Promote the Zimmer + Rohde brand and its full product portfolio across commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts within your territory.
- Conduct regular client visits, both independently and in coordination with showroom or sales team colleagues, to present new collections and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with the showroom team to manage client needs and follow through on all stages of the sales process—from sampling and quoting to order processing and delivery.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and product launches to network and stay informed on market trends and client needs.
- Educate clients on the technical features and benefits of Zimmer + Rohde’s products, including performance fabrics and wallcoverings suitable for high-traffic environments.
- Stay informed about industry standards, including fire ratings, performance specs, and sustainability practices, to better support project requirements.
