We are seeking an entrepreneurial Client Manager to drive revenue growth and strategic brand partnerships for Dwell and Domino, part of Ziff Davis’s Lifestyle, Inc. Reporting to the VP of Client Partnerships, you will grow endemic and non-endemic ad revenue across digital, print, branded content, video, social, and experiential platforms.
In this role, you will expand relationships in the home, design, and luxury categories while securing new business in priority growth sectors like automotive, financial services, travel, and wellness. The ideal candidate is a strategic seller who can translate our influential audiences into meaningful partnerships, balancing established account growth with net-new category generation. You will collaborate closely with our editorial, marketing, and operations teams to build integrated programs that deliver on client objectives while upholding Dwell and Domino’s premium market position.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue: Own and scale a national sales pipeline focusing on home, design, and luxury, alongside growth sectors like automotive and finance.
Prospect & Pitch: Proactively develop new-to-brand business through strategic account mapping, market intelligence, and senior-level outreach.
Build Relationships: Steward direct-client and agency relationships with CMOs and media leaders to secure significant, recurring media commitments.
Create Integrated Solutions: Translate client objectives into compelling partnerships spanning branded content, video, digital, social, print, and experiential activations.
Craft Sales Narratives: Develop category-specific pitches that demonstrate the unique value of Dwell and Domino’s design-minded audiences to non-endemic brands.
Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead the end-to-end sales process—from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and renewal—to consistently exceed revenue goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with editorial, creative strategy, and ad ops to create differentiated,
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 8–12+ years of media/digital advertising sales or integrated partnerships, with a documented history of closing significant 6- and 7-figure deals.
Industry Network: An active network of brand-direct and agency relationships across premium sectors (home, design, luxury, automotive, finance, travel, wellness).
Media Fluency: Deep understanding of modern media formats, including branded content, custom integrations, programmatic, video, and experiential sponsorships.
Communication Skills: Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and executive presence, capable of navigating complex negotiations with C-level decision-makers.
Commercial Acumen: Strong expertise in structuring premium partnerships, handling pricing conversations, and maximizing both client value and profitability.
Business Development: Proven success in net-new category development, successfully bringing non-endemic brands into premium publishing environments.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of CRM tools (Salesforce) and market intelligence platforms for accurate forecasting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical field experience preferred.
