DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Actively introduce and promote the Nickey Kehoe brand and product line through consultations, presentations, showroom tours, and events.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify and evaluate potential clientele within the designated territory, leveraging industry insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to target high-value prospects and expand the client base.
- Conduct targeted outreach and prospecting to attract new designers to Nickey Kehoe
- Maintain ongoing communication with existing trade clients to ensure strong relationships and continued business
- Collaborate with the showroom team to create an engaging and informative space for trade clients
- Partner with Trade Sales Representatives and Coordinators to support a seamless order process
- Assist in quoting and responding to trade inquiries in a timely manner
- Monitor trade client engagement and sales trends to identify new opportunities for growth
- Work with the Director of Trade to develop trade sales growth initiatives, events, and outreach strategies
- Represent Nickey Kehoe at industry events and showroom activations
- Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations with non-competing brands to enhance showroom visibility
- Leverage sales data and analysis to gauge progress, identify trends and market opportunity
- Communicate assortment opportunities, trends and feedback to Product development and Buying Teams
- Other duties as required by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY ATTRIBUTES:
- Must have 3-5 years of furniture and textile experience
- Bring an established network of interior design industry contacts and a proven book of business to drive immediate growth and contribute to the expansion of the company’s client base.
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- Reliable transportation to travel between client sites
- Charismatic with strong relationship building skills
- Self-motivated; takes initiative to build relationships and ability to access what is working and what is not
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with high end trade clients
- A proactive and strategic approach to outreach, client engagement, and sales growth
- Understanding of custom furniture processes, textile, and trade policies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance client engagement and sales support
- Willingness to collaborate across teams to enhance the trade experience at Nickey Kehoe
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Initial focus on the greater Los Angeles area and California with expanding travel to key west coast markets.
