Jessica McIntyre Interiors is a boutique interior design firm specializing in sophisticated, thoughtfully curated high-end residential interiors. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Associate Interior Designer to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded designer who brings strong technical expertise, a refined design sensibility, and the confidence to independently manage projects from design development through installation. This position works closely with the Principal Designer, Jessica McIntyre, and design team to translate creative concepts into beautifully executed interiors while maintaining the firm's high standards of design and client service.
Responsibilities include managing multiple residential projects, sourcing and specifying furnishings and finishes, developing client presentations, and coordinating with architects, builders, vendors, and trades. The Associate Designer will serve as a key point of contact for clients, oversee project details and timelines, participate in construction meetings and site visits, and ensure the seamless execution of each project.
We are looking for a proactive, highly organized professional who takes ownership of their work, anticipates challenges, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably within a high-end residential interior design firm. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required, including the ability to independently produce accurate floor plans, elevations, and custom detailing. Applicants should have a thorough understanding of residential construction, architectural detailing, furnishings, materials, and finishes, along with demonstrated experience managing projects through all phases of design and installation. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously are essential. Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence and professionalism to lead client meetings, present design concepts, and coordinate effectively with architects, builders, vendors, and trades. A strong design sensibility, resourcefulness, initiative, and a collaborative attitude are highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected; experience with Canva and project management software is a plus. A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred. This is a full-time, in-office position in Fort Worth, Texas.
