We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager / Studio Assistant to support the Principal in the day-to-day management of projects and studio operations. Working closely with the Principal, this person will help oversee the operational flow of multiple high-end residential projects—from client onboarding through procurement, vendor coordination, and installation. Key responsibilities include assisting with client presentation materials; coordinating with vendors, artisans, and workrooms to obtain quotes, place and track orders, and manage delivery logistics; and maintaining detailed project spreadsheets, budgets, and timelines. The role also involves site visit support, sample coordination, and assistance with photoshoots. This position is integral to maintaining structure, communication, and efficiency across all phases of design. It is well-suited to someone with a strong operational mindset who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment. While much of the work can be done remotely, the position is New York City–based and will require local availability for in-person tasks as needed.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an interior design studio or related creative office
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs and maintain composure under pressure
A genuine appreciation for elevated design, craftsmanship, and the collaborative process that brings projects to life
