Wendover Art Group is seeking a highly design-driven Art Consultant to support our Luxury Lifestyle business, serving both residential and commercial markets. This role is focused on curating elevated, design-forward artwork for A&D firms, interior designers, and high-end clients, while maintaining alignment with Wendover’s broader product strategy.
The Art Consultant must bring a refined point of view, with the ability to translate sophisticated design concepts into curated art programs that meet the expectations of discerning clients. This role operates across both core collections and managed accounts, requiring a balance of creative vision, client sensitivity, and disciplined execution.
Luxury Art Curation & Creative Direction
• Curate elevated, cohesive art assortments tailored to high-end residential and commercial interiors
• Apply a strong, informed point of view to artwork selection, with a focus on composition, palette, scale, and materiality
• Ensure all selections reflect current and emerging trends within the luxury design space
Residential & Commercial Focus
• Develop artwork solutions that translate across both residential and commercial environments, understanding the nuances of each
• Tailor curation to fit a range of applications including hospitality, multi-family, corporate, and highend residential projects
• Balance aesthetic impact with functionality, durability, and project requirements
A&D and Designer Engagement
• Support the creation of art programs for architecture & design (A&D) firms and interior designers
• Translate design briefs, mood boards, and finish palettes into thoughtful, well-resolved art assortments
• Contribute to presentations that clearly communicate creative intent and elevate the client experience
Core & Managed Account Integration
• Contribute to Wendover’s core luxury assortment, ensuring it remains relevant, cohesive, and design-forward
• Execute highly tailored curation for managed accounts, aligning with specific brand identities and project goals
• Navigate seamlessly between broad assortment development and highly customized client work
Trend & Market Intelligence
• Maintain a deep understanding of trends in luxury interiors, hospitality, and design
• Identify opportunities to introduce new artists, styles, and mediums that resonate with the luxury market
• Influence product direction through informed, forward-thinking recommendations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Sales, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure seamless execution
• Provide clear creative direction to Graphic Artists and internal teams
• Ensure artwork is executed to the highest standard while meeting timelines and specifications
Asset & Project Management
• Manage multiple projects with a high level of organization and attention to detail
• Maintain accuracy in digital assets, categorizations, and artwork specifications
• Ensure timely delivery of curated selections and project milestones
Qualifications
• 3–6 years of experience in art curation, interior design, hospitality design, or a related field
• Strong understanding of luxury residential and commercial interiors
• Refined eye for design, with a deep sensitivity to color, composition, and scale
• Experience working with A&D firms, interior designers, or high-end clients preferred
• Ability to balance creative vision with commercial and operational realities
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop required)
• Degree in Art, Design, Interior Design, or related field preferred
