Last week, Traditional Home hosted a grand reopening party celebrating the Ethan Allen Design Center in Skokie, Illinois. Among the guests who were introduced to the reimagined showroom space and the company’s new products were Ethan Allen CEO Farooq Kathwari and Pamela Bemus, vice president of Ethan Allen Great Lakes Region, as well as Traditional Home’s publisher Beth McDonough and Stacey Farrar-Hermes, the magazine’s brand director, integrated marketing. Explains event organizer Heather Tweedy, “After lots of planning, it was great to see the Ethan Allen event in Skokie really come together. From the design center itself, to the Trends Presentation by Traditional Home contributing editor Elaine Markoutsas, to the catering and all the guests, it was a great event. Everyone had a wonderful time, and hopefully more people will continue to stop by this showroom and see its wonderful redesign.”
Attendee Jennifer Rizzo, blogger and owner of Jennifer Rizzo Design Company, concurred: “I loved hearing all about the current design trends and seeing them translated in this beautiful new Ethan Allen space. It was a really great evening away, and I met so many great people.”
