A lineup of well-known designers will speak the Interior Design Show 2016 in Toronto over January 21 to 24. Now in its 18th iteration, the fair, which celebrates top Canadian and international design, will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

The three headliners for this year’s show are designers Tom Dixon, Lee Broom and Ora ïto. The fair’s two discussion series, AZURE Trade Talks and Globe Style Saturday, will also feature six speakers, including Craig Dykers, Omer Arbel, Omar Gandhi, Jesse Carrier, Mara Miller and Orlando Soria.

Product designer Tom Dixon, whose work appears in the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, is this year’s International Guest of Honor, and will host an experiential kitchen installation with Caesarstone, as well as a pop-up shop with Klaus by Nienkamper to benefit Habitat for Humanity. He’ll address attendees along with Lee Broom and Ora ïto in the AZURE talks.

Architect Craig Dykers, founding partner of Snøhetta, a cross-disciplinary architecture, landscape architecture, interiors, graphic and branding design practice, will discuss design philosophy, while Vancouver-based Omer Arbel of Canadian manufacturing-design company Bocci will appear in discussion with Omar Gandhi, founder of his own design and architecture firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Husband-and-wife design team Jesse Carrier and Mara Miller, who recently released their book Carrier and Company: Positively Chic Interiors, will appear on Globe Style Saturday, along with interior designer-writer-artist Orlando Soria of the interior design blog Hommemaker.
