For the last 10 years, Tent London has aimed to combine curation, collaboration and connections during the London Design Festival. This year, it will join its sister event, Super Brands London, under a different overarching fair: London Design Fair. Running September 22 to 25, the fair will take over three floors of the Old Truman Brewery in order to showcase 250 designers and brands, 200 global brands and 15 country pavilions. Tent London will display its latest initiative, Trentino Collaborations

“We were invited to propose a project by the trade commission of the Trentino region of Italy,” said Jimmy MacDonald, London Design Fair founder and director, in a statement. “The result is Trentino Collaborations, which connects four British designers with four Trentino-based manufacturers to create new products for retail.”

The four British designers—Max Lamb, Sebastian Cox, Lucy Kurrein and Giles Miller—are incorporating different techniques and mediums into their designs. “The point is to create a profitable exchange—both artistically and economically,” added MacDonald.
