The Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair returns February 7 to 11, running concurrently with Stockholm Design Week. Some 700 exhibitors will gather together at the fair to debut interior design and lighting intended for residences and public spaces.

The Lamino armchair, originally designed by Yngve Ekström, was showcased at the fair in 1955; it's now produced by Swedese.

Among the highlights of this year’s show: The Light Shop, a new pop-up selling lighting; the Trend Exhibition, exploring trends in materials, colors and shapes with the theme of “Contrasts”; and programs featuring this year’s guest of honor, Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon.

The show will also host the Editors’ Choice awards, giving honors in the categories of Rising Star, Best Stand and Best Product. Last year’s jury included magazine editors Marcus Fairs from Dezeen, Adeline Seidel from Stylepark, and Walter Bettens from DAMn.
