A memorial service for architect and designer Michael Graves will be held at Richardson Auditorium at Princeton University on April 12 at 1 p.m. Graves died of natural causes on March 12. He was 80.

Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey, will extend a portion of the current Graves exhibition, Past as Prologue, through April 12. Twenty-five percent of proceeds from admissions collected at Grounds for Sculpture on the day of the memorial will be donated to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, in Graves’ memory.

The hospital, designed by Graves, was one of the projects he was most passionate about, as he believed in the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital’s mission to rebuild lives through advanced technology, research and a family-like environment. Memorial donations will be used to help build the hospital and honor Graves through a permanent naming opportunity.

More information, including RSVP information, can be found online.
