Crate & Barrel has named Maureen Baine as vice president of design for its furniture, lighting and B2B categories. Baine was previously the senior director of design for furniture and lighting, a position she held since joining the company in 2019.
Kitchen manufacturer Nobilia North America has promoted Cheryl Fenelle Dixon to chief marketing and communications officer. Fenelle Dixon was previously the senior vice president of marketing and communications, and has been with the company since June 2024.
North Carolina–based furniture company Taylor King has hired Cass Key as the company’s new sales and marketing director. Key was previously the creative director for Woodbridge Furniture Company, an interior designer at Meg Brown Home Furnishings and a trend forecasting consultant for Venture Carpets.
House of Rohl announced Rachel Roberts has been promoted to president of the kitchen and bath fixtures brand, which is a division of Fortune Brands Innovations. Roberts was previously global vice president of luxury marketing, a position she held since late 2023. This announcement comes on the heels of current president Todd Teter—who was also the company’s head of water innovations for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia—announcing his forthcoming retirement earlier this year.

Mississippi-based upholstered furniture manufacturer Albany Industries appointed Craig Zielinski as president. He will continue to hold the title of chief operation officer. Zielinski, who joined the company two years ago, succeeds Mark Gosnell, who will remain CEO.
The resin-based consumer goods retailer and Keter Group announced Udi Sagi as its new CEO and board director. Sagi joined the Israel-based company in 2009 and most recently served as CEO of Keter IL.

Pamela Jaccarino announced her new role as vice president of design content at DesignShop, the just-launched platform that will serve as a residential-focused partner site to Material Bank. Though the position is new, Jaccarino is no stranger to the world of Adam Sandow–founded companies. Prior to this role, she was tasked with developing a membership program, Luxe Design Guild (the program never formally debuted—Sandow says the initiative is on pause). Before that, she was editor in chief of Luxe for nearly 20 years after co-founding the magazine with Sandow in 2005.
Textile designer Dorothy Cosonas joins Luum Textiles as its new creative director. Cosonas previously completed a 16-year tenure at KnollTextiles, where she served as creative director from 2005 to 2021 and started KnollLuxe, the company’s fashion-forward division.
New Jersey–based furniture, carpet, leather and fabric brand Jamie Stern announced the appointment of William Oberlin as the brand’s first-ever creative director. Oberlin brings more than two decades of design and product development experience, most recently as the owner and founder of Dutch East Design, an interior design and branding firm.
Hartmann&Forbes, the Tualatin, Oregon–based window and wallcovering brand, has hired Michael Jones Jr. as a junior designer. Jones is a recent graduate of Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland, and will be working under Rebecca Welch, director of product development.
Design & Architecture
Dallas-based architecture firm HKS has announced leadership changes at the top. Heath May will succeed Dan Noble as CEO and chairman. May has been with the firm for more than 20 years and became partner in 2020. Noble joined the firm in 1983 and has been CEO and chairman for more than a decade.
Alabama-based SS&A Design Collective appointed Shavon Charlot as president after the retirement of Bob Snider, who served as president from 2008 to 2024. Charlot has been with the firm for 15 years and previously held the roles of vice president and director of architecture.
Boston-based Safdie Architects appointed Jeff Huggins to senior partner, expanding the firm’s leadership team to six. Huggins has been with the architecture firm since 2006, working his way up from associate.
Kate West is the new head of marketing for British design firm Sims Hilditch. She joins the firm as it expands its portfolio in London and internationally. West was previously the marketing manager of the wedding planning website Getting Married UK Limited.
Mavis Wiggins, the managing executive and global workplace creative director at New York–based TPG Architecture, has announced she will retire from the firm this month. Wiggins has held her position at the firm since 2010 and was previously a design director at Gensler and a senior associate at HLW.
Los Angeles–based KAA Design Group announced the promotion of five staff members: Michael McGowan and Todd Paolillo are now associate principals; Sara Pijuan was promoted to senior associate; and Kyle Wheeler and Joyce Lopez will now be associates.
JCJ Architecture has welcomed Stephen Dinnen as senior project designer at the firm’s Tulsa office. Before coming on board, Dinnen was design director at Studio 45 Architects and an architect at Selser Schaefer Architects (Narrate Design).
Chicago-based contemporary art gallery Volume Gallery welcomed Meaghan Roddy as its West Coast director. Roddy was previously head of design at Phillips auction house, and was heavily involved with the company’s expansion on the West Coast. She is also the founder of Roddyshine, a consultancy and curatorial service for the design and art world.
Media & PR
Steinreich Communications Group has appointed media executive Susan Jones as vice president of business development. Jones will focus on the firm’s home furnishings industry group, helmed by senior vice president Kimberley Wray. She was most recently the publisher at Furniture Lighting & Decor, a position she held since 2018.
Design-focused firm The Consultancy PR has announced two promotions and one new hire. Jacob McLean has been promoted from a senior account executive to an account manager; former account coordinator Megan Cunningham is now an account executive; and recent Southern Methodist University graduate Olivia Byrd joins the company as an account coordinator.
