Sculptor and mechanical engineer Ted Bradley crafts artworks for the home. His latest series is the realization of a passion project—and the reward for months of trial and error. “Two master mold-makers told me it would be impossible to make geometrically perfect rings from porcelain,” Bradley tells Business of Home. “But I embarked on a year-long journey, working by hand through 1,400 pounds of clay and experiencing hundreds of failures, before creating the world’s first set of porcelain light rings.” A single ring requires more than 200 steps over the course of three weeks to produce, with the stunning end result making all that effort worthwhile. Below, witness different colors and combinations of rings in luxury homes located across the country.
