The newest to join The Rug Company's all-star list of designers is David Rockwell of The Rockwell Group. Rockwell has launched a hand-knotted collection with designs that range from his love of theater to his collection of kaleidoscopes, according to a report by HFN.
“I¹m not a product person,” Rockwell said. “And I¹m not necessarily a shopper. But I love surfaces and light.”
The collection consists of Stage Light, which has a spotlight effect; and Metallic Squares, Kaleidoscope Gradient and Metallic Ovals, which use silk and graduated color for effect. There are also two cushion and wall-hanging items—all available this fall.
The Rug Company's other deisgners include Vivienne Westwood, Tom Dixon, Paul Smith, Diane Von Furstenberg, Ron Arad, Nicky Haslam, Kelly Wearstler, Matthew Williamson, among others.
