The third-annual fall edition of the popular Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale will host 40 top national and international decorative and fine arts dealers over October 20 to 23. The preview reception will benefit Modernism Week.
New dealers include Antique Galleries of Palm Springs, Seeing Pink Elephants (Houston), Towne Palm Springs, Bridges Over Time at Palm Springs Art & Design Gallery, and The Wester Gallery (Roswell, GA). Notable returning dealers include Blue Heron Gallery (Fallbrook, CA), Danish Modern NoHo (Burbank, CA), Funkis (Venice, CA), Rick Petteford (Sepastopol, CA), Route 66 West (Palm Springs), Silk Road Modern & Contemporary Rugs (Beverly Hills), and Stevens Fine Art (Phoenix).
“Attendance and sales during the Fall Preview continue to grow,” says Rosemary Krieger, president of Dolphin Promotions. “Our vendors look forward to participating in this show because of the high caliber of attendees. We are delighted to once again partner with Modernism Week for this important event.”
Last February’s show set a new record for attendance, with almost 8,500 visitors, an increase of 20 percent over the prior year. This season’s programming includes Christopher Kennedy’s Palm Springs Pad: Modernism Week Idea Home, as well as the Premier Double Decker Architectural Bus Tour and walking tours focused on residential, civic and commercial buildings.
“We are pleased to extend the opportunity for our show attendees to continue engaging with exhibitors after our show closes by browsing the items offered on InCollect.com,” says Krieger. “Now our loyal customers can continue to browse the Modernism Show & Sale design objects and also interact with each other in a way that was not possible before. We are thrilled that we can add this level of engagement to our event.”
