Last week, Metropolitan Home Hardware & Bath (MHH&B) celebrated the grand opening of its Brooklyn (Dumbo) location, showcasing its full line of hardware, plumbing fixtures and fittings, lighting, along with a new introduction from Formani, which included architectural and decorative hardware from Holland created by designers Piet Boon and Tord Boontje.

“Dumbo is an exciting community, with tech, film, artists, architecture and design companies, builders, developers on every block,” said MHH&B Principal Richard Segal. “The opening event provided an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to the Brooklyn and Manhattan design and building communities, as well show our products and new space and give our manufacturers a place to display and talk about their products."

Notable attendees included NYC&G Account Manager Melissa Groher, interior designers Byron James Rodrigues, Jami Eliason, Amy Robertshaw and Peta-Gaye Schoucair, and Watershed Partners Project Manager Jennifer Elsasser who described the showroom as “hardware heaven.”
For more than 30 years, Segal has been selling architectural door hardware, plumbing fixtures and fittings, lighting and providing consulting services. Eric Morris and Company, Rocky Mountain Hardware, PBA Hardware, Aquabrass, Geberit, AHI Hardware and O’Blaney Rinker Lighting are among the companies represented by MHH&B. The showroom is located at 20 Jay Street, Suite M16, Brooklyn, New York.
