An October 8 gala will help support the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. The event, A Taste of Project Design 2015, will be hosted by Kravet Inc. and sponsored by Domino at RMH-LI, and will help raise funds for the nonprofit. RMH-LI serves as a home away from home for 1,000 families with children visiting area hospitals. The 100th of 300-plus similar houses worldwide, the Long Island location offers 42 bedrooms spread out over 44,000 square feet, which were redesigned and renovated over the last two years with the pro bono help of the interior design industry.

Led by design chair Margreet Cevasco of Margreet Cevasco Design and design chair honoree Suzanne Costa of Suzanne Costa Interiors, the celebration will also feature appearances by designers Nate Berkus and Candice Olson. The benefit will mark the release of a selection of vignettes curated by various designers. Guests will also be treated to tours of RMH-LI, entertainment, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. VIP tickets will also be available, offering fine dining, VIP butler service, and private access to the outdoor beer garden and other entertainment.
