Spanish stone and tile brand Lapicida is closing its New York outpost at the D&D Building, which it has occupied since 2014, in favor of concentrating on its growth in the United Kingdom and in Europe. Lapicida will continue to have a showroom presence in London, Oslo and Harrogate, which is in the U.K., near Leeds.
“We are seeing very strong growth in the U.K. and from enquiries in Europe and have taken the decision to concentrate our efforts in maximizing these opportunities where we have greater infrastructure to support this growth,” Xenia Carr-Griffiths, Lapicida’s CEO, tells EAL. “We have been working on several new channels of distribution, for example a new network of partners offering a Lapicida-branded experience within their showrooms, and a transactional website.”
