IIDA and Hospitality Design announce winners of design competition

The International Interior Design Association, IIDA, a professional networking and educational association, and Hospitality Design magazine announced the winners of the 2010 Annual Product Design Competition at Las Vegas HD Expo gala last month.

Judges selected the winners based on: innovation, technical advancements, cost effectiveness, environmental responsibility, aesthetics, need and usage in the hospitality industry, and both client and user benefits.  Awards in each category are not mandatory.

The 2010 judging panel included Viveca Bissonnette, Carrier Johnson + CULTURE, San Diego, CA; Rick Marencic, Daroff Design Inc, Philadelphia, PA; Bruno Viterbo, Champalimaud, New York, NY; Michael Dalton, Strategic Hotels & Resorts, Chicago, IL.

The 2010 winners are:
