DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) will award Kikkerland CEO Jan van der Lande with the Gift for Life Chuck Yancy Lifetime Achievement Award. Kikkerland, the design and decorative object company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary next year, is now tasked with raising $60,000 by February 2017 to benefit the organization’s initiatives.
“I am privileged and honored,” Van der Lande writes on the fundraising site. “It filled me with gratitude to receive recognition for 25 years of trial and error in building Kikkerland. With this award, I’m asking my family, friends and colleagues to donate funds for the critical fight against AIDS.”
Van der Lande will receive the award at the Party for Life fundraiser, to be held in New York on February 6 of next year.
