The new line, available for purchase only in the the Yves Delorme flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York, incorporates Lippes’ fabrics and inspirations from his SS18 ready-to-wear line. That line, says the brand, “carries an Americana-meets-Japonica theme.”

“Most of my inspiration for our collections stems from interiors,” says Lippes, who worked for Oscar de la Renta before starting his eponymous fashion brand. “The mix, the layering, the coloring and pattern. You will see this weave throughout Adam Lippes. And in my work, nothing is more important than the fabric, fit and finish. With Yves Delorme, I found a partner who values the same. Their extraordinary attention to quality and ability to execute genius craftsmanship is second to none. Personally, I can’t wait to dream in the bed we’ve created together.”

The Couture line was launched by the French bedding brand to help its clients create bespoke bedding using Yves Delorme’s own percales, satins and linens, which are produced in its studios in Hauts-de-France.

“Adam Lippes has a sort of je ne sais quoi in his approach to elegance in design, both in fashion and interiors that is absolutely authentic and enthralling. Adam is a very passionate designer and his work is a beautiful complement to the Yves Delorme brand, and to Yves Delorme Couture,” shares Lee Dufour, vice president of marketing and communications at the brand. “It was such a delight to witness the collaboration between Jérôme Delmas, Yves Delorme Couture art director, and Adam Lippes … two great minds working in the domain of refinement and the perfection of artistic expression by textiles.”
