Formerly the president of Edelman Leather, Amy Darrah has been named president of Donghia, effective December 9. In this position, she will oversee residential and contract sales, as well as showrooms, merchandising and marketing.
Darrah will bring extensive knowledge of trade-focused furnishings brands to Donghia. Prior to joining Edelman in 2009, she held many positions in the field, including regional sales manager at Knoll, Inc. from 2003-2009.
"I met with many highly talented candidates for this position and Amy Darrah stood out as the perfect person for the role," said Andrea Favaretto Rubelli, chief executive officer of Donghia and co-CEO of Rubelli. "She has a history of leadership in the architecture and design community and I look forward to working with her to make Donghia even stronger."
"I am thrilled to be joining Donghia, a company I have always held in high esteem," said Darrah. "I have also long admired the Rubelli family and look forward to working with Andrea Rubelli on this brand that represents lifestyle and design at its very best."
