A number of designers are paying homage to the small object tonight as The Future Perfect debuts “The Immaculate Object,” a new exhibit of exclusively commissioned work in glass, metal, and ceramics.

The metal pieces include candlesticks, furniture, mirrors and lighting by silversmith David Taylor, and mobiles by Dylan Davis and Jean Lee of Ladies & Gentlemen Studio. Ceramics include functional objects by Ben Medansky and Jason Miller, as well as California-inspired sculptural objects and accessories by Eric Roinestad. Glass pieces hail from Swedish glassblower Simon Klenell, who is presenting crystal decanters.

The designers developed the work on their own, yet when shown together, the pieces demonstrate a stunning interplay. The exhibit is the first ever to be shown in both the New York and San Francisco showrooms of The Future Perfect. Learn more.
