The Shade Store opened its first-ever North Carolina location last night with a cocktail party attended by 50 guests, among them, members of the Charlotte IDS Chapter and the area's IFDA Chapter, as well as Adam Skalman, Trade Program Director at The Shade Store, and Lisa McClelland, VP of Showrooms. The brand's store, one of a number to open in recent months, is one of 40 scheduled outposts to be opened by the end of this year.

“We were truly overwhelmed by the warm welcome we received by Charlotte interior designers and the community,” said Skalman. “With this being our very first showroom in North Carolina, we’re confident we’re bringing both the trade and consumers something they’ve never seen before in the window treatment category. We’re looking forward to keeping the buzz from our grand opening party going and serving the community in the best possible way!”

The new showroom is located at The Village at Southpark, 4310 Sharon Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28211. The showroom is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
