For four days beginning May 15, 25 designers will have the opportunity to participate in tradeshow designjunction edit New York as a part of a special collaboration with the Studio North and Prototype sections of Interior Design Show (IDS). Studio North & Prototype is a platform where designers can present one-off, custom collections ranging from lighting and furniture to ceramics and textiles. The exhibition will include prototypes as well as commercially produced items.

The showcase is a part of the introduction of the designjunction edit New York show, which coincides with the official NYCxDESIGN week. The show will feature over 30 leading international brands alongside smaller, independent design labels.

Those who wish to exhibit as part of Studio North & Prototype need to apply by April 16. Entry is open exclusively to independent designers and studios. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of industry experts to ensure quality, and judged on the following criteria: cutting-edge design, quality, originality, design innovation and function. More information can be found online.
