At NY Now, designer Alexa Hampton and Roman textile specialist La Gallina Matta debuted a new tabletop collection that includes nine designs of oilcloth pure linen placemats and coasters, available in six colors.
“When it comes to elegance and function, coated linen placemats and coasters place very high up on my list. I’ve created this decorative variety of choices to help inspire intimacy, coziness and fun at the table,” says Hampton.
La Gallina Matta, which was founded in 2004, produces all of its placemats and coasters in Rome. Says company founder Claudia Petruzzi Granato, “Our oilcloth linens offer a decorative magic, adding color, pattern, shine, and ease to the tabletop.”
