On February 13 in Los Angeles, Ralph Pucci and Galerie co-hosted an opening night reception to celebrate photographer Marjorie Salvaterra and artist Jeff Quinn.
Capturing the energy of Frieze LA, the Pucci gallery welcomed hundreds of designers and creatives to view the new work and take in a special performance by award-winning cellist Adrienne Woods, who recently played in the Oscars orchestra. Quinn designed an original four-piece mural for the event, and longtime Pucci collaborator Eric Schmitt created a special playlist for the event, which can be streamed on Spotify.
On hand to celebrate with Ralph and Michael Pucci and editor in chief Jacqueline Terrebonne were Lisa and James Cohen, Beth Brenner, Douglas Durkin, Richard Petit, Nina Yashar, Jason Kalman, Mallery Roberts Morgan, Madeline Stuart and Ron Woodson.
“We wanted the opening to be very ‘art’ inspired to tie into the energy of Frieze LA,” said Ralph Pucci. “We were thrilled to have over 400 people in the gallery enjoying the 17 giant photographs revealing Marjorie’s unique world and Jeff’s immersive surrealistic murals and paintings.”
Terrebonne added, “Hosting an event with Ralph and Michael Pucci was the perfect way to celebrate Frieze Week in LA. His gallery perfectly embodies Galerie’s mission to ‘Live Artfully’ by bringing together the best of the worlds of art and design. Plus, our guests got a first look at our spring issue, featuring photographer Marjorie Salvaterra as one of our Creative Minds.”
