Janus et Cie and Elle Decor placed exquisite design and inventive fare at the forefront on Wednesday, November 30, with a pop-up at Tur Kitchen in Coral Gables, Florida.
On the eve of Art Basel, Elle Decor executive editor Ingrid Abramovitch and style director Parker Larson hosted an exclusive gathering of VIP guests for an exceptional five-course tasting menu prepared by chef Christian Chirino. The celebration took place just steps from Janus et Cie’s Coral Gables showroom, with the brand’s beautiful furnishings filling the restaurant’s interior and exterior spaces.
Guests lingered over branzino, mushroom carpaccio and duck kofta at intimate and casual table settings staged by Janus et Cie. Post-dinner, partygoers made their way to the Coral Gables showroom, where they enjoyed dessert, after-dinner drinks and Janus et Cie’s newest outdoor collections.
“Janus et Cie has always exuded a special, unique air of warmth because of the people who work there,” said Larson. “Our dinner at Tur Kitchen in Coral Gables during Miami Design Week was the perfect embodiment of this, as it brought together an intimate group of designers and friends in an environment of great design and good food. And I have to say the dessert paired with espresso martinis in the showroom after was the ultimate way to end a luxurious evening!”
