House of Rolison and Arhaus unveil a reimagined Bel Air estate

Perched in the hills of Bel Air, 851 Strada Vecchia Road served as the setting for an exclusive evening celebrating the debut of a meticulously renovated estate by House of Rolison in partnership with Arhaus. The June 24 gathering welcomed approximately 240 guests for a first look at the completed residence, where thoughtfully curated interiors and elevated hospitality came together to showcase a shared vision of modern luxury.

Designed by Amanda Leigh and Taylor Hahn of House of Rolison, the home featured pieces throughout by Arhaus, whose furnishings complemented the property’s architectural character while reinforcing the designers’ emphasis on warmth, wellness and timeless living. Over the course of the evening, guests explored the residence while experiencing spaces that seamlessly blend refined craftsmanship with relaxed sophistication.

The celebration presented a curated lineup of immersive experiences, beginning with a cellist who performed classical suites to greet guests upon arrival. Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed more live music, plus a magician, organic wines from Avaline, a Hennessy Paradis tasting, cocktails and passed bites, while Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Beverly Hills showcased its latest collection against the backdrop of the Bel Air estate. In addition to the furnishings by Arhaus, the home also highlighted products from a number of leading design brands, including Bocci, De Troupe, Emtek, Hennepin Made, Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet, Larose Guyon, Lee Broom, Lo & Co Interiors, Olive Ateliers, Timeline Wood, and Zia Tile, as well as artwork from Casterline|Goodman Gallery and Studio CT.

The guest list reflected the breadth of the Southern California design community, featuring designers Skylar BerkusLindsey ColhounRob Diaz, Sam DonnellyCoco Greenblum, Pierce JordanEvan KrenzienAmr Samaha, and Nina Takesh, alongside Jack Herr and Brett Northart of Riviera Development  and Mauricio Umansky and Farrah Brittany of luxury real estate brokerage The Agency.

Reflecting on the project, Leigh shared: “851 Strada Vecchia Road is about honoring the soul of the house while bringing in a sense of warmth, ease and wellness. Every room feels lived-in, timeless and authentic, and partnering with Arhaus to bring our vision to life felt like the natural choice. Their pieces have this quality of being both elevated and organic, which is exactly the balance we wanted for a home like this. We worked closely with their team to source furnishings that could hold their own against the architecture without competing with it. The result is a truly magnificent home that offers a Zen-like resort while infusing legacy, wellness and modern expansiveness.”

The evening offered an immersive introduction to the newly unveiled residence while celebrating the collaboration between House of Rolison and Arhaus, uniting leaders from the worlds of design, lifestyle and luxury real estate for an unforgettable debut.
