Business of Home partnered with Sherrill Furniture during Spring High Point Market to celebrate the launch of House of DuVäl, the new luxury furnishings brand founded by designer DuVäl Reynolds. The event brought together designers, retailers, and media and industry professionals for an evening of cocktails, conversation and networking, while offering guests an exclusive first look at the debut collection.
Hosted in the Sherrill Furniture showroom, the gathering provided attendees with the opportunity to experience the House of DuVäl collection firsthand and learn more about the vision behind the brand. Throughout the evening, guests explored the collection’s distinctive aesthetic while connecting with fellow members of the design community in a welcoming and festive atmosphere.
Among those in attendance were Benjamin Johnston, Jennifer Mabley, Kaitlin Petersen, Carisha Swanson, Amber Guyton, and Bryan and Mike Yates, along with numerous design and industry professionals visiting High Point Market.
Reflecting on the event, Reynolds shared: “There was such a beautiful sense of community at the launch. People weren’t just attending—they were engaging with the vision, sharing their interpretations, and connecting emotionally to the work. The energy felt uplifting, generous and deeply affirming.”
The celebration marked an exciting milestone for House of DuVäl, introducing the brand to the design industry while fostering meaningful connections among creatives, tastemakers and business leaders.
