Los Angeles’s top designers and tastemakers gathered for an intimate dinner party at the home of actress Sophia Bush in celebration of Elle Decor’s March issue. Bush’s newly remodeled Hollywood home was appointed with the help of interior designer Jake Alexander Arnold, contractor Orie Prince and landscape designer John Alden Sharp, and was featured on the cover of the March issue.
On hand to celebrate with Bush, Arnold, Prince and Sharp were Elle Decor’s William Pittel; designers Mary McDonald, Nathan Turner, Eric Hughes, Richard Shapiro, Kerry Joyce and Kathryn Ireland; Good Morning America producer Mark Robertson; and celebrity life coach Ryan Weiss.
“I said I had this crazy idea to open the space to be designed in this way for people in my peer group,” said Bush in a toast to her guests. “To people in their mid-30s who are just starting out with their first homes and needed to figure out, ‘Where and what spaces do you go luxury, and where do you budget?’ and ‘How do you do this?’ And Elle Decor said, ‘You know what? We should do that together.’ So thank you, Elle Decor, for jumping into this renovation project with me. It was crazy and amazing and I couldn’t have done this without you.”
