On Thursday, June 20, premium home furnishings retailer Arhaus hosted a grand opening party to celebrate its new showroom at The Grove in Los Angeles. The brand welcomed more than 300 guests, including design professionals, industry influencers, business clients, philanthropy partners and collaborative artisans from around the world.
On hand to celebrate was Chrissy Jones of Twenty-Eighth Design Studio, Grace Bukunmi of Buku Studios, actress Daniella Monet, Stephanie Liu Hjelmeseth of modern Chinese market Suá Superette, fashion stylist and costume designer Zerina Akers, Sacha Strebe of EyeSwoon and Cyd Wilson, executive director of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.
“The opening of our showroom at The Grove was highly anticipated—we wanted to open our doors to the Los Angeles community with a splash,” said Hannah Wickberg, director of public relations and experiential marketing at Arhaus. “Not only is it one of our most beautiful locations yet, but it also marks a pivotal moment for the brand as we continue to expand our physical retail presence in California. We were honored to showcase the new space and celebrate the Arhaus story through a memorable experience shared with so many wonderful guests.”
Partygoers enjoyed sips and light bites—while admiring life-size chocolate Arhaus creations by “The Chocolate Guy,” French pastry chef Amaury Guichon; demonstrations from upholstery craftspeople; live music; a flower bar; and personalized cosmetic bags made from Crypton performance velvet fabric. In honor of the opening celebration, Arhaus committed donations to its charity partners Habitat for Humanity Los Angeles, American Forests and The Nature Conservancy.
