Design’s top talents know that the most successful projects come from collaboration and working in synergy with their design colleagues. In the Circa Lighting showroom, Luxe Interiors + Design editor in chief Pamela Jaccarino and designers Suzanne Kasler, Lauren Rottet, Stephen Earle, and Jesse Carrier and Mara Miller of Carrier and Company discussed what it takes to make a project soar, and described their playbooks for when teams (sometimes) run off the rails. Over 200 guests attended the panel during the New York Design Center’s What’s New What’s Next.
“I was fortunate to participate the WNWN panel with Luxe magazine at the Circa Lighting showroom on design work as collaboration,” said Rottet. “This exchange of ideas between designers and manufacturers was stimulating. I am also excited about the upcoming High Point Market, as some of the best residential manufacturers are addressing the needs of product for Hospitality. As a hotel as well as residential designer, I look forward to seeing what’s new by manufacturers like Circa Lighting, Visual Comfort & Co. and Jonathan Charles, who are creating reasonably priced, beautiful product that can be used in hotels and multi-family high-rise residential.”
Following the discussion, attendees enjoyed a dual book signing with the namesake designers of Suzanne Kasler: Sophisticated Simplicity and Carrier and Company: Positively Chic Interiors.
