Furniture brand Floyd appears in the Catskills, Detroit and beyond

Bed frame startup Floyd has partnered with a selection of Airbnb hosts—not the brand itself—on Stay Floyd, an initiative offering a variety of escapes throughout the United States. Located in trending hotspots, including The Catskills, Detroit, Russian River, Joshua Tree, San Francisco and Toronto, each home will feature a Floyd bed frame.

Floyd, which is based in Detroit but is an entirely e-commerce business, was founded by Kyle Hoff and Alex O’Dell. The goal of Stay Floyd is to introduce customers to experience the bed in person.

O’Dell tells EAL, “We really want to give people the opportunity to check out Floyd where it’s really meant to be, in the home. Since Floyd goes anywhere, in any kind of space, with any style, we thought Airbnb was a great way to showcase that. We decided to partner with some of the best Airbnb hosts out there, who have beautiful, unique and accessible spaces, and furnish them with Floyd. Now people can spend time with our pieces while seeing a new place.”
