Jennifer Manners Design are looking for an entrepreneurial-spirited Showroom Manager to join our team, based in our NY Showroom at 200 Lex. As Showroom Manager, you will develop and implement new, long-term strategic client relationships and access your own database of high end interior designers. You will proactively arrange strategic client visits and run the day-to-day operations of the showroom.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Develop and continually grow the sales pipeline in order to meet current and future sales targets through on-site meetings and hosting architects and interior designers in showroom.
*Manage new business opportunities, including visiting key clients to introduce the brand.
*Develop strategic KPIs for annual growth; monitor and report on results.
*Increase sales growth in line with budget expectations, performing showroom sales analysis and offering insight for business development.
*Assist senior management where needed.
*Track weekly progress in line with business objectives.
*Provide strategic input and work on future business planning with our founder, Jennifer Manners.
*Work across design, operations, accounts, and marketing functions to ensure best practice, offering solutions when and where appropriate.
*Co-ordinate daily customer service operations e.g samples, sales processing, generating orders and payments for key clients.
*Manage customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
*Develop a deep knowledge of our brand, products and customers.
*Develop budgets and suggest improvements or changes for further new business opportunities.
*Represent the brand at key industry events.
*Develop an excellent working knowledge of our systems in order to support the Customer Experience role e.g. Email, CRM Tool, Social Media, Quickbooks.
Skills Required (Technical)
*Client-focused approach with proven track record of managing positive customer experience throughout the entire sales lifecycle, facing challenges and problem solving whilst keeping the customer informed and managing expectations.
*IT literate - the role is highly dependent on the ability to navigate and utilize multiple IT systems to gather information relevant to the role.
*An interest in interiors, an understanding of color and a passion for handmade textiles would be an advantage.
*Adept at using software e.g. Pipedrive, Quickbooks, Photoshop, MailChimp and Word.
