High-end Lighting showroom located in the D&D Building, New York seeks a highly motivated Showroom Manager. Our studio has multiple boutique showrooms in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Dallas, London & Dubai, serving the high-end design market & specializing in custom fabrication. We are a progressive, dynamic company and an industry leader that provides a creative and energetic work environment.
Required Qualifications
Sales experience; preferably in the lighting or furniture market, minimum 5 years with a proven performance record
Highly organized and detail oriented
Self motivated
Well versed in the interior design market and trends
Computer skills (all office programs, Salesforce experience preferred)
Drawing or sketching visual communication skills preferred
Familiarity with natural materials, metal and fabric components
Familiarity or experience in custom manufacturing – specifically ground up “napkin sketch” to “one-off” production
Positive attitude with desire to cooperatively work alongside support team
Excellent people skills a must
Ability to articulate both verbally and in writing; ability to communicate and relay design intent from client to sales to production teams
A desire to continually learn and improve self and organizational process & industry trends
Duties
Sales on high-ticket bespoke lighting.
Interface with interior designers, architects and end-users
Manage physical showroom & travel within sales area
Articulate client specifications on estimates follow through to invoices
Follow jobs through from acquisition of sale to design development and provide top notch client service throughout the process
Interface with the design community to harvest new opportunities
Follow market trends and compile data for corporate reviews

Wired expanded to the East Coast in 2003, opening in the Design Center of the Americas near Miami, and shortly after opening a new flagship showroom in the Decoration and Design Building in Manhattan. Continually adding new lines to our portfolio, our presence grew to London, in the Design Center Chelsea Harbor in 2007. Subsidiary showrooms were also launched in Washington D.C., Dallas, Chicago, Moscow, Shanghai, and Dubai.
