JOB DESCRIPTION:
Bruce Fox Design, a full-service Chicago-based interior design firm, seeks a Senior Interior Designer. We are looking for a highly motivated, mature, and creative design professional who wants to be part of a collaborative team working at the top of their game on innovative and exciting projects. Our ideal candidate will have a refined and sophisticated design sensibility and a proven background in both the conceptual and technical aspects of luxury residential interior design. This position reports directly to Bruce Fox.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for management and execution of multiple simultaneous high end interior design projects and tasks under the leadership/guidance of design firm owner. Provide supervision and training for junior designer(s), design assistant(s) and design intern(s). Responsible for continuum of design project related tasks, including computer and manual drafting; presentations when requested; sourcing, placing orders: timely client, vendor, contractor communication and direct support for design project execution and trouble shooting. Working as resourceful, creative, flexible and resilient team member.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Accredited degree in interior design discipline and a demonstrated knowledge of technical, design and construction techniques. With a minimum or 5 years of high-end interior design experience. Excellent communication and problem-solving initiative skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple simultaneous project elements and work well under deadlines. Expertise in design field technical skills, including AutoCAD, Photoshop, rendering, Studio Designer, Word and Excel. Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive when necessary.
