Quotation & Order Specialist – Roll & Hill, NYC
Roll & Hill seeks a detail-oriented Quotation & Order Specialist for our NYC sales team. This role connects business partners and internal teams, converting project inquiries into accurate quotations, managing orders, and maintaining relationships with clients, lighting representatives, distributors, and showrooms.
Key Responsibilities
Quote Development & Order Management: Prepare accurate quotations for distributors, procurement partners, and showrooms using project documents and technical requirements. Review client materials to determine product solutions with sales leadership. Apply pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability, process orders, and track fulfillment.
Customer Communication & Support: Serve as main contact for clients and partners, obtaining project information, certifications, and approvals. Provide technical support and product guidance while maintaining professional communication and building long-term relationships.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and production teams for seamless order execution. Work with sales leadership on quote strategies and project priorities. Maintain organized records and stay current on product specs, pricing, and lead times.
Lead Capture & Pipeline Support: Track project inquiries in CRM, follow up on quotes, and update the sales team on status, feedback, and timelines.
Experience Requirements: 3-5 years in quotations (lighting industry preferred) and/or 2-3 years in B2B customer service. An associate degree in a technical or business field is required. Familiarity with NetSuite or CRM tools, electrical codes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite are needed.
Success in This Role: You have strong attention to detail, excel in communication, and can read lighting schedules to deliver accurate quotes. Build relationships through reliable communication, proactively address requirements, and support revenue growth with excellent service.
Position Details: Full-time, on-site in NYC, Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM. Salary: $60,000-$80,000. Roll & Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
